A few characters I photographed during a visit to Duxford Battle of Britain Air Show last weekend:

Camera Raw filter in PS has inaccurate preview

I had a problem with the preview after the recent update. It wasn't quite the same as yours. My problem was that the preview window was showing too much blue. I solved it by turning off the use graphic processor option. Go to Edit/Preferences/Camera Raw and then untick the use graphics processor...

    Malham Cove and Gordale Scar

I like the composition and colours of no.1. I think it's a very pleasing picture.

    Surprise view - Peak District

Awesome shot. Really love the depth and colour.

    Scalebar Force, Settle, North Yorkshire

Thanks for your comments everyone. I'm glad that they may have encouraged some to try out long exposures like I have just done and others to visit this waterfall. I agree that I may have over-muted the highlights somewhat. That's possibly a tendency I have with my photos generally. I just put...

    Scalebar Force, Settle, North Yorkshire

Having visited Settle many times over the years, I was surprised that I hadn't heard of the picturesque Scalebar Force until I happened to come across some images on the internet. I'd never used ND filters before and was very grateful to another photographer who happened to be there when I...

    Dancer at Calgary Stampede

Thanks for the suggestion Kodiak, I agree that the darker skin tones would benefit from lightning a little. Your version looks a little over-sharpened to me though, so I've had another go and tried to make the changes slightly more subtle:

    Dancer at Calgary Stampede

The silver stuff is part of her dance troupe makeup. I couldn't do much about the background because this dancer was just one of a group of about 8 dancers who were twirling red and black Calgary Stampede flags around. The movement of the troupe was quite rapid and I had to use a fast shutter...

    Calgary Stampede 2016

Here are a few photos from the Calgary Stampede which I visited recently whilst on holiday in Canada. The first one was taken in an indoor arena and the other four were taken just after a major thunderstorm so the poor light made things difficult on all of them: (1) (2) (3) (4) (5)

    Gekko

Well I did say I was no expert!! Thanks for the suggestions Box Brownie. I've looked at some more images of Starred Agamas/Painted Dragons and I think I was definitely off the mark and you are correct. Thanks Paul and Kodiak with the tip about the twigs. I've removed them now:

    Gekko

Saw this whilst visiting the ancient ruins of Priene in Turkey. I'm no expert so am just presuming it's some type of gecko.

Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, Istanbul

I recently visited Istanbul for the first time. What a wonderful place! So many things to see, matched equally by the fabulous aroma's in the Spice Bazaar and the "experience" of bartering in the Grand Bazaar. Anyway, here are a few pictures of two of the main attractions - the Blue Mosque and...

    Colosseum, Rome at Night

No, I didn't have time to go into St. Peter's. Not on this occasion anyway - I did go in around 10 years ago. I enjoyed the photos on your Flickr page - particularly the Pantheon (I didn't succeed in getting a decent view of this).

    Colosseum, Rome at Night

Thanks Paul. I took it from the top deck of the tour bus as we waited at the traffic lights. It's just a pity that the sun wasn't immediately behind the dome rather than a little to the right of it but I'm pleased with the outcome of the shot nonetheless.
