Hi all,
Does anyone know where i can get DNP DS40 ink only, it seems to run out alot quicker than my paper, resulting in having now, 1 ink roll and 4 rolls of paper.
I begrudge paying £120 for essentially ink whilst stock piling paper.

Only a small thing, but the AWB is so much better in this camera.
Shooting today in shade then bright sunlight and stuck it in AWB with a 5D2 and a 5D3.
The 5D3 was consistently getting better results than the 5D2 which was giving a much more "bluey" tint to the shots.
Not a major thing i know...
As stated home insurance, but make sure its covered out and about.
Got mine on my business insurance, home, car, car unattended, work, pretty much everywhere and mines from HK.
Hi all,
Been using my DS40 and noticed that my prints come out a bit bleached out. The blacks are a touch grey with less contrast than i would expect.
This isnt something new, just lived with it.
However saw an example print from another ds40 and was much better quality.
What im having to...
Simple. Get the best for your budget.
I managed to upgrade to a 5D3 and kept the 5D2 as a backup because i coudl afford it.
If i had £500 i probably would get a 600D.
The beauty of a crop is you can stick a cheap WA lens on it and leave it on there. Ala Sigma 10-20.
I disagree.
Id rather have a faster lens in any situation.
F/2.8 really makes a huge difference. But maybe thats just the way i like to work.
Saving up for the 16-35 starts now.
Good thread.
Id be interested in this.
Was deciding between these 2 for my 5D3 and after all the "you need the 24-70 L" ive decided i dont.
I need one of these.
