I really like the use of the light in the shot, very nice. I quite like the use of the shallow depth of field as well. My only critique would be that the background looks unnaturally divorced from the subject, did you desaturate the background at all?

I'm a web developer, so as you can guess, created my own. For my corporate site however I used an off the shelf solution because we already had it licensed although we'll problem go back to an in house creation soon enough.
