In my defence - there is No blurring done on the skin! this is uploaded as an 800 pixel image, the originall tiff has all texture/pores visible. Maybe you are referring to the matte look? That is just a style I sometimes use where I feel appropriate. Thank you to all who commented :-)

Half way? maybe, in that case i did the lighting (20%) and retouching (30%) :) there are plenty more just wanted a bit of feedback first, i will post others.
