First time posting car photos, all were taken using a polarising filter and all have been tweaked in photoshop. Could I have some feedback please.

4 and 5 are doing it for me, not usually a fan of diesels but these tick the right boxes

Bluebell Railway East Grinstead Extention Gala

Thanks for the comments, the last shot was always going to be a bit of a test because I knew the loco would be facing the wrong way so didn't mind if the shot didn't work

    Tutorial Photography Guide: Star Trails

I had a go at this last night, whilst I was reasonably happy for a first attempt, I couldn't get the camera to focus, any hints or tips? Doe anyone know if its possible to get the shutter to lock on a D70? Thanks for the tutorial, looks like theres going to be a few cold nights ahead:D

Would you mind letting me know if these look dark also, if so it could be my monitor is way out, which isn't going to help. Thanks

Don't mind honesty at all, I'd like to know where im going wrong. The light was terrible and was fully expecting to put it in the bin. It is two images produced from the same RAW file one for the foreground and one for the sky, adjusted the levels, contrast and sharpened. Im fairly new to this...

    Sir Archibald Sinclair

To be honest I only downloaded it yesterday, this was the first image I processed, but as you said I was struggling to bring out the detail in the motion and underframes, AutoHDR achieved the look I was after. Its free so well worth a go, Ive since tried it on other images with promising results.

Heres the original, straight out of the camera, the white discs on the front of the engine are route indicators, only used on the southern region I believe.

Can I have some feedback on this please. Initially processed with AutoHDR, then curves adjusted and sharpened

    Blubell Railway

I've had a fiddle with my colour management settings & the first picture, hopefully it should be more as I intended. I have closer shots of both, I will put them up when I have had chance to edit them, they are very much classic 3/4 front on.
