The sunset shot does it for me. The pink tones reflecting onto the buildings seem to make them a little less harsh, it feels like theres a better balance to it.

I think I Would have chose not to include any of the beach at all. framing just the stumps, but placing them slightly more left. Also I would have stopped down to f22 just to offer the slightly longer shutter. How do you find shooting on large format?
