I see that this years North West Stages Rally on planned for the 4th/5th Feb in and around Blackpool. Is anyone going, or been before? I'm looking for some advice on the best places to observe / photograph from. Also any ideas on the best places for parking nearby? Thanks in advance.

I'll keep and eye for you on the Malcolm Wilson stages then next year, which is likely to be the next event I will manage to get to.

Agree with the comments above, my 500D is fantastic and is everything I need with a couple of kit lenses. It would be worth shopping around for a deal to what extras you can get thrown in.

Sounds good Dave, always up for sharing ideas and learning from others. Next few weekends are probably out with work and half term hols, but after that should be good.
