I think it will be covered separately as you have to give serial numbers for the applecare,but i would give Apple a ring to confirm. Tell them your sister is having the monitor.

Did you purchase separate applecare for both products? If so the applecare will be linked to the serial number of each item,so you will be fine selling them separate. You can check on the apple website as to when warranty runs out.

What network did the previous owner have it on and was it on contract or PAYG? I suspect you nee to change the settings. if you click settings,general,network,cellular data network. What settings do you have?

Purchased a couple of laptops for work from them and would buy use them again.

Price wise they seem to go from £370-£450. For £450 you will get a mint one with low actuations (under 5000) and maybe a spare battery.
