Lower league football photography how do i start getting into football togging?

Stick stuff on here and get people to critique them. Develop thick skin and get people to be as critical as possible, its sometimes not very easy having someone say "that's not very good at all/bloody rubbish" but you WILL learn from them doing that, you need to be critical of your own work. It...

    RIP Gary Coyle

Really sad news. Honest and straight talking. A great help to me as a beginner. "If you don't like the answer, don't ask the question" type of bloke. :0D Thoughts to his family.

    A Lesson in Sports Photography

Took these a few weeks ago and noticed the rim lighting effect due to the lights being particularly non-league!! Obviously messed about with them in PS & Nik Silver Efex and had to remove a white sponsors label on the shirts, but pretty happy with how they've turned out.

    An Unsatisfied Non-Customer

I emailed them and offered to let them have a couple of photos for the programme, on the strict instruction they weren't to go to any press sources. They seem happy with that and it seems to have cleared the air. Thanks for the words of wisdom/advice.

Cheers for the replies. Although I'm surprised that they didn't just use them with the watermark on......like loads of their players are....

    An Unsatisfied Non-Customer

Gary, that's part of the reason I took this stance in the first place. James, I didn't pay for entry. As for access I went pitch side as I'm insured, but nowhere else. I did point out that a download wasn't exactly expensive for programme use.

    An Unsatisfied Non-Customer

Jim, I emailed them and asked permission. At no point was anything said about providing any photos as part of any arrangement about being let in. If he'd said that then that would've been different. I'm really in two minds about this, as they're local to me and have aspirations and budget to go...

    An Unsatisfied Non-Customer

Received this delightful email today......he's not happy a freelance photographer won't give his photos away? No mention was ever made of me providing photos either in email or conversation at the ground. And I told him that I was freelance from the off. When they asked for freebies I pointed...
