Sorry to hear Alan. I lost my mother not too long ago and went through a similar path. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Interesting, I'll have to decide between this one and rebuying the 16-35mm PZ

There are some decent deals on the A7CII in mainland Europe. Tempted to grab one while traveling at the beginning of October. I can get a Sony A7CII with the 16-35mm PZ for ~£2,500 on Fotokoch. When deducting the VAT and taking in consideration the cashback, it comes down to roughly £2070 for...

I'm tempted to replace my stolen A7IV with the new A7CII but my only concern is the lower res EVF. There are some decent lens bundle offers when pre-ordering either new A7C cameras. The 16-35mm GM II looks good as well. I just wished the zoom was internal and the price lower...

Hi, could anyone with a Sony A7 IV post a photo of the bottom of their camera body if possible (with the serial number hidden)? I found a listing online in Spain and trying to find its origin and whether the serial number hasn't been photoshopped.

No, I just bought the body and I remember inputting a smaller number on the website, hence why I found it weird to see such a big number now. I checked the box and the serial number is indeed the second one after the dash. Thanks for your help!

I do have insurance but I'm sad I didn't back up the last photos I took over the weekend on my hike. On the Sony website, I have the following serial number for my lost A7 IV: 32853730-6585105. The second number has 7 digits, what is the first one preceding the dash? I just missed the summer...

I've just got my camera and gear stolen while in the South of Spain  I've reported the serial numbers I found on my registered devices on https://www.sony.co.uk/mysony/ to the police. I don't remember them being as long on my camera body and lenses though? I have two numbers separated...

    Magnetic filters

Not yet. I usually only use the lens hood to protect my lens. I would use a UV filter only under critical conditions (sand, windy and dusty etc.). Ive bought a screw in CPL for now but can see myself buying to the Kase 82mm entry kit sometime in the future

    Magnetic filters

Thanks everyone for sharing your experience with the Kase magnetic filters system. I'm glad to read that many of you have not had issues with vignetting, except maybe at the very wide end or only when stacking multiple filters together. Thank you very much for your detailed answer. It looks...

Does anyone have the Lee filters polariser adapter?

Hi @SFTPhotography, I'm thinking of getting a Kase CPL filter as well but I have a few doubts/questions with regard to its magnetic system which I've written down on this post. If you have time, I'd love to have your input.

    Magnetic filters

I have been looking into getting my first circular polarising filter and maybe a set of ND ones, and I have been debating whether to get magnetic or screw-in ones. One strong advantage that magnetic filters have is their ease of use apparently. However, does this matter if I'm not planning on...

    Affordable travel tripod

I haven't received it yet. I was in no rush and decided I could wait a little bit. I will get it hopefully in the next 2-3 months though and can revert back to you.
