    Quick Labrador shot

You did a great job fella, the image is nice and sharp, clear etc. I've taken photos of a few dogs of the years and I know just how hard it can be. I found, with my dog, if you get someone to hold something they want, like a dog biscuit etc, right above the lens of the camera, they tend to...

    Quick Labrador shot

Love the 'from above' composition you've done, works really well. The only thing I can think of which would improve it is if the dog was looking directly at the camera, rather than to the side of it.

    Something different from me

I've never heavily edited my photos, I've always just taken them into photoshop, made sure the colours are good and the image is sharp, and left it at that. Ive always concentrated on making sure the photo is crystal clear & sharp, looking like it did off camera, rather than hammering it with...

    It's been a while!

Another one, slightly different spot. Seems to be proving slightly more popular than the previous photo on FlickR. Again, comments & criticism welcome. If you have FlickR, feel free to add me by clicking here

I hear that! Appreciate the comment though.

    It's been a while!

You're right to be honest, it's not much of an excuse. Laziness is probably a better one, coming home from work and only wanting to sit infront of the TV whilst eating tea etc. Thank you though.

    It's been a while!

My camera collected some dust over the last year or so, barely coming out of the bag for more than 10-15 minutes at a time, being able to count on one hand the times it did get taken out of the bag! I've been otherwise occupied with other things and, not so much not had time for it, just not had...

    1/3 of my 'favourite girls'

Thanks for the comments guys. Much appreciated fella, they're both points which i'd not thought of, especially the blob on the post in the background. On the subject of the dog looking into the space, is this any better? Another one taken from the same day, in colour however.

    1/3 of my 'favourite girls'

Which would be the dog - Penny - soaking up some sun, having a quick gander past me to see what was going on at the road further down. Black & white is a style of photography which I've always loved, even before I got into 'togging myself, so now that i'm trying to get back out with the...

    A very random candid...

Thanks mate. It sounds rude, until you watch it, and then it becomes funny due to it being a monkey doing it. Allthough I think the bullfrog was just unlucky to have ended up in there. Was funny non-the-less.

    A very random candid...

Much appreciated fella, means a lot. I'm in total agreement with the semi-planned natural shots being better than random shots being left to chance, allthough when they come together, sometimes they're amazingly epic. If i've inspired even just one person, then i'm a happy bunny! I've...

    A very random candid...

Thanks mate. Out of everything I've bought, the 50mm tops the lot, without question.
