Thanks Guys :) I did worry a little about looking a bit of an idiot with my tripod out at the fireworks but it was dark so nobody can see you looking embaressed for the first few minutes :) I also had quite a few shots of just the fireworks in the air and like you said allready it works...

Also my first attempts at Fireworks I took loads of shots over almost 30 mins of display in between worrying about people tripping over my tripod in the dark :o These are the ones I'm most happy with altho they dont look as sharp as some of the others posted Focus was in manual set to...

mine updated pretty painlessly not sure I like the news stand thing being stuck on the front page or the music app for that matter I dont keep music on my iPad as its allready on my phone and pc dont need a zillion copies

My Benro plate looks like this ( apologies for phone pic ) I'm not sure the FastenR -T1 would work as it looks like its a " waisted " design and as you can see theres no loop on the Benro screw itself

yeah i've looked at those but it seems they only work with manfrotto plates not benro ones

i have one but recently have reverted to using the normal strap as i have a tripod plate fitted need to find a way of using both at same time

colours looks great to me has it put the right hand edge on twice tho ?

great shots thanks for sharing :) are the twinkly stars , in shots 1 and 2 as shot or added/enhanced afterwards ? the one at the top of the raindrop in the first shot looks a bit wierd like a second reflection
