Got to love Scotland I ocasionaly get a pigeon or the neighbors cat.

Oh and try to get some forground interest. Ie somthing clearly in focus and close up.

I am relativly new myself however what I have picked up for long exposure of water is: Anything between 2 to 4 seconds exposure is best. Around f16 to have a good dof you are best using ND filters to helpavoid very bright days.

Another Pentax user here bought a *ist d about 18 months ago, just upgraded to a K7 world of differance but a massive learning curve.

Hi I am relativly new to photography and my preferance is landscape. However I regually walk my dogs round the local woods and have taken my camera a few times but only ever manage to get good pictures in the surrounding fields not in the woods. Any hints on composition and how to...
