Thank's for the replies. The CD is for a freind and I know he has a 'HD TV' so 1024 should be ok then. Only other question is.....I would prefer to use 1024 for 'landcsape' type shot's which is ok but would prefer to use 1024 (High) for 'portrait' type shot's as well which should also be...

Yes, I know they are all different but there must be some sort of average. I was thinking of 1024x768 which would be a good average size on most monitors/laptops for viewing. If you make the images bigger than the TV res would it automatically resize the image to fit?

Can someone tell me what resolution you need when viewing a CD of images on a TV.
