I haven't logged into TP for ages, but I can say I've used the app (on Android) but much prefer using the TP site in a regular browser, as there are more usability options and, with it being a photography site, would rather look at members' images on a big screen. I think apps are a good...
I know it's early, but have a cup of coffee and a fag and chill out eh, Cagey :LOL::LOL: I was simply trying to be more specific about my ask, because woof woof's original response before he edited it missed the point.
Of course you can't guarantee that dust can't get in between the...
@woof woof: you edited your previous post after I replied to it to include 'If it's not clean try again?', that's why I asked what you were talking about.
Your last is predicated on the conclusion that I've only cleaned it once. I haven't, I've cleaned it a number of times, so it's not me...
What should be ok? My point is I've done the wet clean, but there's still a lot of dust. The gap between the filter and the sensor looks like at least a millimetre, which means that a lot of dust could collect in there which can't be reached. Has anyone felt the need to send the camera off to a...
Has anyone here attempted a wet sensor clean with their G-series camera?
I ask because I noticed quite a few specks of dust/dirt on my GX7's sensor when viewing at f/22, so I purchased some suitable swabs and solution and got cleaning. However, despite approaching the job methodically...
I recommend getting a 3rd party grip: essentially the same build quality as the OEM grip but much less expensive. The residual value of a grip is going to be dictated by the popularity/availability of the body it's specifically designed for.
Yep, if screwed in tightly and correctly, the grip is strong enough to hold your camera/lens with one end of your Slide attached to it. But why use the tripod connector when there should be a tether slot on the underside of the grip to which you can attach a Peak Design anchor anyway?
I've had a look and although you can reassign the quick control (back) dial's function in M mode, in the semi-automatic modes, where adjusting exposure compensation comes into play, the main (front) dial always controls the primary input, and the back dial provides the compensation adjustment...
Why would you not be able to set up your own custom settings again? If doing a factory reset fixes the problem then a voila. If it doesn't, you've lost nothing, your back to square one.
Perhaps because it came out six years ago and was superseded by the Mk IV in 2016? Nothing to get alarmed about. They don't keep punting out previous models forever. And if I were you I'd purchase one used: plenty about and much better vfm.
