Yes I agree about the tightness of the frame - I was squished right up next to her so as to avoid the snoozing cat ;)

Thank you for the comments...I seem to struggle with too much light/exposure so that is definitely something to work on next time...will have to grab her again soon before she de-sprogs! :) Thanks - So I will try and concentrate on the feel/look of number 1 next time...I also did several of...

The bottom right has great expression! Agree about the top left being a little 'devil'-like... But I love the sharpness of them all!

Hi my 7 year old loves to pose for the camera so I thought I'd take advantage and have a play with my new (to me!) D300s, with the 50mm 1.8 I usually use flash quite religiously but after ploughing through many online tutorials this weekend (mainly on photoshop which I have just invested in!)...

A friend of mine is 6 months pregnant and she wanted some images of her pregnant self, and I wanted to practise taking this style of picture. I found it hard not to get a glare from her belly, and her son kept wanting to get in the pictures as well which was sweet. These are three that I felt...
