I do hope someone on here can help.
For two years i have enjoyed my excellent Panasonic DMC FZ38.
I took it out for some bad weather shots and now camera is kaput. Cost of repair via Pannys main agent v eBay used, doesn't make sense.
Would I be best to stay with the same camera as it...
I own a Panny FZ38 bridge, and have been quite impressed until recently when I took it out to photograph some of the floods during the rain.
Now, i know it isn't waterproof but surely a slight spray of water shouldn't cause problems. should it?
A couple of the switches don't auto-return as...
Was it being filmed through a rear facing mirror, do you think?
Also, did anyone notice the old Lambretta?
The first model I ever owned back in 1965 having swapped it for a non working Vincent.

Hi Richard,
Not wishing to give anyone else any ideas :( and it might upset you to know but I want to mount an old camera in a bird box for some wildlife shots, either on a timed shutter release or on a manual release.
I would also hope to remove the screen and separate it from the body...
I felt it likely that its OK to show interest but we would need to go to the classified to do it properly in accordance with the rules but if I am wrong then hopefully the Mods will remove it and I won't get into TOO much trouble as its a new year.:)
