I bought a 50mm 1.8 off here as soon as I joined. I am learning but used the same lens all weekend at a christening in Ireland. I really have some fab shots admittedly by accident in some cases. Read loads of advice on here and glad I did.

I really like these and these are making me want to go and have a do as I am a proper newb. Only issue is that there just isn't much in Manchester City centre as interesting !!!

I used to live near there and wandered around a few times. Seem to remember they had loads of flamingos !!??!! Views of the house from the woods are great and it's a fairly easy walk. My ex went to a concert there and managed to forget where she parked my black car in a massive dark field...
