Absolutely incredible lens. I'm so shocked by how sharp it is, the IQ is just absolutely unreal. Focusing is fast, no need for IS so far, just so pleased for the money. Blows my 100-400L out of the water. Will post some samples soon

Yeah I've heard a lot of bad things about Sigma's after sales etc. I've got it from MPB, and they say if I'm not happy with it I can return it for a full refund within 7 days, so I'll give it a shot and see how I get along with it. Oh another note, can't recommend MPB enough.

This one will be mainly used on a Canon 7D. I think I'm going to take a shot at it. It's a decent price and worst case scenario I can sell it in a few months and not be down much. I've heard pretty much nothing but great things about it.

That's good to know, she's getting charged the 11p a text it costs from overseas. Quite pleasantly surprised that I can text overseas and not get charged, I didn't realize that was the case.

Playing games consoles online uses very little data, even with voice chat. As all the visuals, physics, the entire game, is clientside, all the connection is doing is sending information regarding locations, where each player is in relation to others etc... The voice chat is lowish quality so...
