    Very large printing

I'm after a printer for a large piece for an exhibition. Ideally I would like it to be 2 metres x 2 metres in size and framed, but could reduce it to maybe 1.8m x 1.8m if necessary. I'm struggling to find a printer that can handle this size. Can anyone recommend one? Thanks Steve

Ignorant People and (parents) at Zoos etc (Rant alert)

Not been on the forum for a few weeks. Come back and it's turned into a smug self righteous version of mumsnet.....yikes Yeah. Modern youth are rubbish. Which is just what my parents said about my generation. And their parents about their generation. And every generation about the next...

    Bite the hand that feeds?

So the PM of our country performs a sex act with a pig's head and people think its nothing?????!!!!!! I shudder to think what some people's sexual preferences are if they easily shrug this off. I see the party line is not to dignify the story with a response. Which is predictable. If he denies...

    Ilford get sassy!

Not sure why film users are so often described as smug (although if the cap fits we should wear it) ....masochistic may be more accurate though :) As to old cameras being more durable, there may be some truth but more to do with obsolescence. This is the oldest camera I still use from about...

Loved every one of them and learnt loads from them. And met some very interesting people and enjoyed their company. The workshops have all been led by...

    Photographers with ibs

I don't suffer from IBS and didn't realise how debilitating it is. I think the word 'irritable' is unhelpful as in my mind that word equates to annoying, whereas clearly IBS is severely debilitating and the word chronic seems more appropriate. So this thread has been useful to better inform me...

    Art in Photography

Why? This is a pointless naval gazing activity. Why are you trying to reduce an artistic activity to some formula that determines if it's still a photograph or an image? Really...who cares? Why the need tp pigeon hole and categorise everything? You can't reduce art to a scientific calculation...

    Art in Photography

You are the artist. Do whatever you want and don't be put off by anyone. What you are doing probably ceases to be a photograph and is now an image. But so what....you don't need the approval of anyone to do what you like and anything you enjoy as an artist should be encouraged.

    Camera at funeral

I only heard about the photographing of stillbirth babies when I saw the charity stall at Focus this year. I wasn't too sure about it, but after a discussion with my wife who is a mental health professional she educated me in the positive benefits some parents get from such photographs. It is a...
