    Japan Travel company recommendations

Hey, I’ve done Japan twice in the last 2.5 yrs and are already planning our next trip. It’s actually not too difficult to do self-guided as long as you plan well, and bring a sense of adventure :D We visited Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hakone, Miyajama, Hiroshima, Himeji, Takayama, Kanazawa, and a...

Just woken up to a bazillion notifications - looks like this one's been "Explorered" on flickr. My second one. I know it doesn't really mean anything but it's still a nice feeling :)

Cheers! That one was taken off the back of a catamaran after an afternoon's whale watching. I can't complain...!

Some cracking stuff in recent pages, chaps. I've got my head around Lightroom Mobile now, which is great for my processing speed, but I'm struggling to find time to get anything properly tagged and uploaded. Here's the latest handful from Australia... Australian Sunset by mikeriddle1984, on...

I'm knee deep in sorting and processing everything from my Australia trip. This is the first time I've used Lightroom mobile but so far it's going very well. I have 3 days left of my trial to decide whether to pony up for the subscription! Is anyone else here using a combination of LR mobile on...

Another from Oz, taken at the end of a very successful day fishing in the ocean (on a VERY small boat!). For some reason the file is being a pain uploading from my ipad. I think this version works ok. Whale Watching by mikeriddle1984, on Flickr

Just back from 10 days in Australia for a mate's wedding and general holiday. A fantastic trip and my first since grabbing a 23mm f2. I haven't gone through all the pictures yet but between the wedding, wine tasting, plus ocean fishing and whale watching trips I'm sure I have some good stuff...

Editing across Mac and iPad Pro?

This is interesting. Seems like the limit only applies to files synced from desktop, so my specific use-case should work absolutely fine, which would be perfect. I'd love confirmation from someone who is actively using it though.

Editing across Mac and iPad Pro?

Cheers chaps. It's possible I've misunderstood and stuff uploaded from the ipad don't count, or something. @Furtim - are you on the "photographer's package" or one of the bigger ones? I understand they get more storage space. My point is that, in order to be synced between devices, everything...

Editing across Mac and iPad Pro?

Forgive me if I've missed a previous thread on this, and particular apologies if I'm being a bit thick with this... I've just picked up an iPad Pro and I'd like to use it for light processing and, most importantly, sorting and cataloguing. Until now I've been using a MacBook Pro with LR5. I'd...

@Raymond Lin I don't have a Pro1, but having been considering a 23 f2 I think you've just made the decision much easier. Looking good!

Cheers! I was somewhat nervous about a balloon in Egypt of all places but it was actually great. I got more good pictures of the balloon itself than the view, but it's a fantastic opportunity to shoot something you don't see often.

A couple more from Egypt. All are almost-SOOC aside from a smidge of deepening of blacks/highlights and pushing whites/shadows in LR. First Pylon by mikeriddle1984, on Flickr Wheatfields by mikeriddle1984, on Flickr Pyramid of Khafre by mikeriddle1984, on Flickr Fire in the sky by...

Haven't been here in a while but thought I'd check in. I'm still on my trusty XT1 and back from a trip through Egypt a couple of weeks ago. I took my standard trio of 10-24, 35/f1.4 and 18-135. I'm still wading through everything, but a few highlights have already jumped out. List of Kings...
