    London Hampton court

Hi. I have a pre wedding shoot coming up and my clients have requested 1 of their locations at Hampton court in Middlesex. Has anybody ever photographed here and are there any restrictions regarding shooting? I do sometimes use off camera flash and softbox or umbrella depending on the situation...

    Concert Photography

I recently shot a concert (sort of) in low light conditions. I chose to leave WB in auto as the disco lights were all over the place and sort that in PP. Using 2 f2.8 lens' helped a lot and went as high as ISO 6400 with great results. Don't worry too much about noise/grain as this can actually...

    DSLR field monitor

I get what you're saying Jayst84. Forgot to add that the job will be about 3-5 days over a couple of months so hiring again and again makes no sense to me. I would like to know what people are using as field monitors, can it be any kind of screen, does a screen you play dvds on in the car for...

    DSLR field monitor

No hiring would not make any sense, I don't need a kit. I need a monitor to show each scene to the clients while we work as 5 of us gathered around the 3" screen on the back of a camera may not be ideal. Recommendations for the 'not too much money' monitors people are perhaps using welcome.

some basic dslr video Q's - newbie help please

Yes IMO a steady cam or monopod is recommended, you will get camera shake when hand held, just try it and view it on a big screen rather than the back of your camera where it may look all good! Also try to avoid zoom as much as, use your feet instead, prime or a fixed focal length is best.

    DSLR field monitor

Hi. Got a small project coming up and having to use video on the DSLR and was wondering what field monitors anyone here is using. It's a 1 off project so not looking to spend too much money but would like to view in HD as we shoot/after each scene on a slightly larger screen. Any suggestions or...
