Gimp is my photo editor of choice but I've never used plug ins before. I've just seen one I want to try, however it is 6 years old with precisely zero user ratings or feedback. Something about downloading an unrated file of unknown provenance and a file extension I don't recognise is setting off...

Aye - My largest film negs are only about 2 inches across so wouldn't really be large enough. I have a couple which are digital negs made from scans of film negs.

Thanks all. Yeah the scans never look as good as the prints somehow. I think the scanner lights from the side so over accentuates the paper's texture.
