Yeah i may consider A6000. Only reason for wanting the A5100 was it looked a bit more 'fun' (read:family friendly) with the touch/flip screen whilst retaining the IQ. May hold out until after Christmas to see whether Sony announce anything else in the A5xxx range.
Has anyone seen the A5100 on sale anywhere recently? Looking to get one to use when I don't want to carry my A7ii with me, but it's out of stock everywhere I've look
Yep something I hadn't considered.
Yep.. Hadn't considered that. Good advice.
Hoping for a bit of sun so I can rattle a few shots off - in which case should be able to get away with 200.
Great stuff, thanks Ruffmeister. I'd rather get the right film for the job in future but as the camera is a new purchase i'd rather test it out (and hone my skills!) on the cheap film.

How easy is it to get the film pushed when developed? Is it a case of just asking anyone to do it or are...
Hi Ned,
Thanks for the input, I do agree looking at the water - I think cropping would be good.
As for the rule of thirds, I do normally at least consider it before taking a shot. In this case I was aiming away from the harbour wall (on the right), but wanted to keep the silhouettes so didn't...
Hi all,
I'd appreciate your thoughts on this picture I took yesterday. I'm getting more and more in to landscapes but it's always good to get someone else's opinion.
(Canon 60d and Tokina 11-16mm, 3 file HDR)
Thanks!
Another vote for the new Nexus!
As other commenters have said - the Fire is a good tablet if you only want to browse the web. The restricted operating system/play store mean that if you want to do anything more than read/browse you'd become frustrated very quickly!
