The small one is definitely a tight fit with the 13" MacBook Pro once you plug anything into the USB ports but it does fit ok. I've never had a problem with folding mine after the first couple of attempts.

Super Telephoto lens buying help 'Football & Rugby'

I've had the non-is and the IS version of the Canon 300 2.8 and both give awesome image quality. With the 7D a 300 would be fine for football giving you more reach than those shooting with a 400 on a full frame. The 300 is definitely more luggable than the 400 as well. I miss my 300!

Not a high percentage to be honest but i haven't worked out exactly. A lot would not be keepers either because I'm choosing one image from a burst, because faces are hidden etc and there are a few when the cage messed up the focussing

I'm not really sure how Silva lost it to be honest. He looked quite comfortable all the way through.

    Football Photographers

Unfortunately there seem to be more and more hobbyists at professional games who aren't interested in making any money from it and are just happy to get access to games - this is down to agencies adding these people to their license IMHO.

National League / National league North and South

Interesting one. There are certain photographers posting images for premier league grounds all over Flickr - but not a problem as they don't have a licence [emoji85][emoji85][emoji85][emoji85]

    An Unsatisfied Non-Customer

Don't under estimate the relationship with local clubs. I have a really good relationship with my local club who have given me life long membership so I'll never have to pay to get in watching or shooting, I get a couple of free beers after the game, free invites to their events (hog roasts...

Hi Lee - just a straight forward 1dx with 70-200 shooting on manual at 1/400, F4, ISO 1250. The big challenge was that you couldn't get right up to the cage, which was about 2-3 feet away so I ended up manually focussing quite a bit. Also having a TV cameraman right in front of me didn't help...

Thanks. I've done a bit of MMA at different levels now and I thought I knew how strong and powerful these guys are but being on the edge of the cage really does make you appreciate exactly how much. The most challenging sport I've ever photographed though so very rewarding when you get a decent...

    Canon 7D mk2 owners thread.

My comment wasn't in specific relation to the question raised that you're referring to but the comparisons are all over every forum you go to. Yes, each camera has its own key selling points but I just don't get the comparisons.

    Canon 7D mk2 owners thread.

The continued comparison of the 7D2 and the 1DX is crazy - these are two very different cameras in very different price brackets. It's like saying Accrington Stanley aren't as good as Arsenal. What it does demonstrate IMHO is that the 7D2 is a very capable camera to even mention it in the same...
