I totally agree with crusher. Have you reported the condition of this bird? This a clear indication of depression--these birds are extremely sensitive and pulling out feathers is a way of demonstrating that. Please, write a letter or make a call to help this poor creature! Beautiful shots...
Beautiful shots! I'm a little concerned about those tags, though! Surely, they would be considered an infringement on the very nature of wildlife? Am I totally off base? Please enlighten me as I'm rather ignorant about wildlife treatment in Great Britain.
These are absolutely beautiful! They remind me of Ballybunion in Ireland. I grew up nearby and when I visited a few years ago, i realized what a wonderful place it was and so unique. Keep shooting your marvelous pictures--especially the wide angle, vertical shots of the coastline!
P.S. Overcast weather is the best lighting situation - no harsh or super contrasting results. This type of lighting is also great for available light portraits and for making colours pop! Wish we had more of that here!
