Hard to see but Ratacus is just under the chair in the picture ( I ruined the best picture ????) The real amazing thing is I had a load of photo of what appear to be nothing but if you look inside the black ring there is something between the slabs,This turned out to be a slug which the camera was picking up. The camera is set to take a photo wait for 30 seconds before taking the next, I think I will alter this and see if I can set the time and date correctly.

I'm helping on a project to discover and catalogue some of the forgotten older churches in this region. These chapiteaux can indicate an age of 11th century or even older.....

New favourite view - roof garden of the Post Building at the eastern end of New Oxford St, free :) just need some ID to sign in. Open 7 days a week from 10.00 until 19.00 or dusk, which is meteorological sunset - I asked.

Nothing special from me. For many years in my childhood on the local playing field was a council owned and rather dilapidated concrete pavilion that the kids used as a smoking and drinking shelter. As it condition and use got worse, it was bricked up and replace with a couple of containers to be use as storage and changing for the local sports teams.

Then two years ago everything was knocked down and removed, as work started on a new building. I had presumed this was another council unit to be used by all, but the signage has just gone up and looks that it is football only.

Don't ask me why the left window hasn't got a rain cover ?

Taken on my phone.

This is a shot of Domino, one of my 3 Crested Gecko's, he is a happy boy living with 2 females lol. The 2 girls were hiding so no shots of them. They are all 9 years old now, so they are getting on a bit. This shot is through the glass of the glass terrarium they call home.

Just the walk home through the cemetery and of course we fed the squirrels. I only had a 55mm lens so a couple of these are (very heavy) crops.

Enjoying the treat.

I had to just press the shutter and hope here as there was a bit of a breeze. I sort of struck lucky as this is a big crop and despite the breeze something is still in focus :D

Every Spring when I pass this I think I'll get a photo of that and then leave it too late, It was a little too late but not as late as in the past. Highley is a Mining village in the middle of 4 mines.

Just planted these up to day, The image looks a bit strange but was in full sun.

Mrs Badger brought this yesterday and I was forced to put it up along with fitting a filter to our pond pump system planting up 6 lots of plants walking the dogs ( I like that bit but don't tell her) and trying to deal with a boiler fault on one of my rental properties and trying to temporally stabilize some of the slabs on our yard ( they have all been layed direct onto soil)

Really need a longer lens lol, this is a pic taken today from 18 feet away ( me being nerdy went and measured it ) with my longest at the full 150mm, then the same pic cropped to try and get the subject large enough in the frame. The birds feet look decent, shame about the wings lol. Must use faster shutter.
