Original plan was the sandy beaches at Arasaig but they were awash with staycationers with tents, campervans and dog walkers so I moved on. Turns out the view, even without the beach is a knockout so I went up to Mallaig and shot from a layby just before the village.
Here's a few of my efforts...
I think this is the best sky I've ever seen, so vibrant and moody with some stunning light. Now, not my usual subject but I had wanted to photograph some rapeseed fields locally to me. Turns out they are few and far between.
I arrived at this location and scouted for some compositions and this...
Had some amazing light last night at Mynydd Llangorse, this probably my favourite of about 5 shots from the evening. Critique or tips on improvements welcome :)

Hello all,
This is my vlog from a few weeks back when I had a nice surprise when at Flamborough Head in East Yorkshire. I know You Tube is full of us photographer vloggers but I thought I would share mine, and if you enjoyed feel free to check out my channel and subscribe...:)
Have been struggling for inspiration for a while but a recent trip to New Zealand seems to have rejuvenated my interest

Happy New Year everyone. Here are two pictures from what is probably the best sunset I've ever witnessed in what I would describe as the most remarkable place I have ever been. This was taken in Gavarnie on my 2018 trip to the Pyrenees

Taken from the lower slopes of Pen yr Ole Wen recently, my favourite mountain bathed in evening sunlight.
I hope you enjoy the view as much as I enjoyed taking it!

Going to camp in the lakes tomorrow night, can go anywhere but want decent sunset light and location.
Not Buttermere as I was there a couple of weeks ago. Any suggestions for catching the good light at this time of year?
Considering Wasdale but just aware it's pretty far out and need to be in...
Took this with my pocket Olympus on our holiday the other week.
It reminded me of the old days when I met my wife - and I was just starting out photography.. and every evening we had to stay out on some hill/field/beach.. and me taking pictures of sunsets :-)
Haven't done this for a while - but...
Hi All,
Took these images of Honister pass and would like your opinions on them, in particular number 1. I am happy with them, but not at the same time. I would like recommendations for where you may consider improving the processing of these.
Thanks.

Hi all,
Took this recently at Formby. I was initially on the beach, but couldn't find a composition I liked so went back on the walkway to see what I could find.
I would be interested to hear your thoughts....
Cheers

Hi all, below is one of my landscape photography vlog when I was on a drive back home and came across a few compositions in East Yorkshire.
Feel free to have a watch, like, share and comment.
Thanks
Hi guys, I just wanted to share two photos I took during the bank holiday on Isle of Bute. It was my first time there. The sunset (yes, it was this purple, I barely touched colours) is a view from the Canada hill. I let my camera take 60 photos that I blended together while enjoying a cold one:)...
Had a break with the weather on Saturday night so managed a nice wander along the Wales Coastal path at Trefor on the Llyn Peninsula... great spot away from the busier crowds of the more popular resorts and Snowdonia

Ran into @Steelo @nickjohnwatson - great to meet Nick for the first time and to see Martin again. Conditions water movement were a bit flat and the best light never happened as the sky was hazy and some low cloud blocked the best of the light. Still it was...
So I bumped into @Cheffievrs doing a pre-wedding shoot up at Chesterton mill, and seeing him use the arches for his work made me want to try more than the inevitable shots (did plenty of those too).

Tried something completely different with this shot at the end of a long day in Wales.

Hi all,
Monday afternoon I went out as there was a break in the weather to take a photo of Wrawby Postmill at sunset in North Lincolnshire. Made a vlog which is on my YouTube channel. Feel free to have a look, like, comment and subscribe for future videos.
