6 month exposure anyone?

Saw this on another forum. Six month exposure that tracks the sun, pretty amazing!

Yep, it's a brilliant shot. It's old news now but still a fantastic shot. I think if I remember correctly it had a special meaning to the guy who took it because his father died half way through the exposure.

I like the idea, but the final image isnt really doing much for me..
I mean if it wasn't for the fact I was appreciating it for the amount of time it took, I wouldn't look at it twice.

Just my 2 cents though of course
