Grey imports - they will ship from Hong Kong and declare value as under £15 to avoid duty and vat. No UK warranty so if it needs repair then you will have to send it back to Hong Kong at your expense.

Looking at the prices on there i can get a 60D body for £433 or a 600D for £277

Hdew are a bit more.

There's a long HDEW thread in the suppliers forum. I've used them and am happy, but they also supply grey imports. Main difference is you return to them in UK for warranty.

Hi, I used them in January for the purchase of a D800 with no problems whatsoever. After receiving the camera I had to get in touch with them for a UK receipt, they sent it to me without delay and Nikon accepted the warranty registration without problem.

Yep, got my 60D from HDEW as well ordered wed came next day, superb service and with a UK RECEIPT

the main difference is that they pay their import tax and VAT - and they handle the importation so you don't risk getting stuck in a customs queue.
(this also applies to flash camera aka kerso)

that said MPB have some minty fresh second user 600Ds - and they do do part exchange, although whether they'd be happy to accept your wife as such is debateable

I sent a pic of the wife and they said the body work is too old and wrinkly and too many actuation on her to accept!
