So I popped down to a local beauty spot - Cosmeston Lakes for a quick hour or so so see what I could see! I took many more images but these are the ones I've processed so far. All taken with the Pentax k5ii and either the Sigma 170-500mm or the Pentax DA* 16-50mm

Hi Gareth,

Scrolling through i found the images improving. Quite a few shots were with the subjects flying away from you. Not your fault obviously. The last one of the chick, i just love it.

However, my favourite is #7 - the little bird placed on a third in the bush. Great colours and composition which is really pleasing on the eye. As im not a bird man apologies for not knowing the species or types of undergrowth.

I just felt compelled to comment as i really liked the shot.

Good effort.

Cheers

Alan
