Hello guys

I am going to post a new picture here every day or two

I am facing a problem of uploding them in the moment

However I tried to upload this on some site

This picture is from Muttrah.

It is in the center of Oman's Capital which is called Muscat

I live in Muttrah, so soon I am going to post some pictures of Souq Muttrah and other places from my town.

Wikipedia:
Before the discovery of oil, Muttrah was the center of commerce in Oman (Muscat). It is still a center of commerce as one of the largest sea ports of the region is located there. Other landmarks include Souq Muttrah, a traditional bazaar and Sour Al-Lawatiah, a small community of houses surrounded by an old wall. To the south lies Muscat District.

Hi
Yep the pic is not showing. Is it on Flickr? If it is you need to copy th bb code and paste it in the thread.

I hope you get it sorted, I'm interested in seeing these.

Fixing is done, I used photobucket

Great, you sorted that out!

This shot is from today's morning.

It is too hard to shoot birds with 18-135mm lens

but that what I came out with

pictures before sunrise

I like this for its natural look a lot more the the opening one!

A suggestion, you could do better with the RAW file:

seagulpp.jpg

…see if you could separate the bird in post #10!

Cool, if it wasn't for the white spot, that could be an interesting take!

I tried to remove it with the Highlight Tool in LightRoom, but it did not work

No chance there, LR is not a pixel editor!

The white spot is not so much a problem but it is its light touching
your front lens thus affecting the whole left side of the scene that is.

This is a missed opportunity as the presence of the green and purple,
and the transparency are delicious.

So, I took this at afternoon in Muttrah as usual.

I used Canon 550D and Sigma 150-600mm

This bird is called Grey Heron

This Selfie Was taken By a YI camera,

Muttrah is surrounded by mountains which helped protecting the City and its Famous port in the ancient ages,

Here is a picture from one of it's mountains, me and my brother are standing in the same place that years ago soldiers stood in to protect Muttrah's port

I won't say more, You may use google to learn more

Love the seagul image, very good colours and composition. I think the colours on the selfie are pushed a little too much but that sea behind you looks amazing

Your Grey Heron is very colourful Ali, possibly too colour saturated for a general photo, though I do like it in this instance ... why not post your bird photos in the bird section and use this thread to show us more of where you live. I'm sure members would be very interested to see more of your surroundings and life, I know I would :)
