Your Grey Heron is very colourful Ali, possibly too colour saturated for a general photo, though I do like it in this instance ... why not post your bird photos in the bird section and use this thread to show us more of where you live. I'm sure members would be very interested to see more of your surroundings and life, I know I would

In my City, Muttrah, which is located in Muscat, The Capital City of Oman, you may take a bicycle for free to cycle around the beautiful Corniche and after you finish, you give it back.

Many People, Omanis, Indians and tourists form around the world visit the Corniche Just for Cycling.

PS: "The promenade along the waterfront in Muttrah, Muscat is known as The Corniche"

In Some Youtube tutorial I learned that I should light the subject to make the picture more beautiful,
perhaps I did too much

In Oman, you may see this bird everywhere,

Also it is able of repeating words, such like a parrot

My observation is not toward what you did but how!
The halo effect, IMO, needs rethinking.

I used 550D and Sigma 150-600mm

You have great light where you are. The colours on the Grey Heron don't right maybe a little less LR saturation.

Looks like great weather there. We currently have a thunderstorm overhead, lots of rain, huge puddles.
Love the ship coming into harbour with the birds flying. Nicely framed
