Try Gimp's famous "Heal Selection". More recently Adobe added a similar thing in Photoshop.
I have long been interested in the topic of using this application. Could you please advise the tutorial on the use?I know it's included with Photoshop, but I think Adobe Camera Raw should be listed, as it's almost an application in itself, and comes with DNG Converter. It works as a plug-in for Bridge, CS3 and Elements.
