My IPhone 18 Pro arrived this morning. Its lovely.
Moving from an iPhone 14 I think you will certainly notice a difference.
Moving from an iPhone 17 then probably no big change imho

Picked up 18 pro today - replaces 16 pro. seems snappier, mainly got for the better camera so will need to test
I went for the pro max for the bigger screen, my previous one was a 13 mini so new one seems huge
Went for the pro so that I can use it to transfer images via a hub from card reader to an external drive to save carrying a laptop while travelling
Camera is a bonus will be interesting to see how it compares with my Sony rx100 mk 1 as a pocket camera
Only had a quick test but camera seems decent

Got the 18pro just 2 days ago, moved from a well used and scratched 13 pro max so yes its a little smaller but Im liking that, plus other than the slightly bigger screen and battery of the 18 pro max for an extra 100 quid, Im happy.
Moving from the 13 to the 18, Im not seeing a lot of difference in real world use to be honest .

I have a 14 Pro, and I've heard this a lot regarding the 18 not being that much of an upgtade. The 14 Pro is still going strong, so I'll stick with it.

Does anyone have a series 12 watch, and would it be worth the upgrade from the series 8?

Took some pics at a dark gig and impressed with them, seemed much better than my 16 pro which was not shabby!

If still going strong I would, my 13 pro max was starting to have issues with sound, proper crack on the back and there was dust on the sensor for the camera too. When i looked at apples trade ins I noted that the 13 was the earliest I could trade in so it was a variety of factors that helped me to decide to get new. I know the battery on new will be better, the cameras better, a bit more storage as the base starts now at 256gb but in the real world those things aren't that big a jump for me.

My 14 Pro has been in its case since day one (it arrived at the same time as the phone) and is pretty much pristine still. I'm a very light user so definitely no need to upgrade at this time. If the 13 is the earliest trade-in now, then the 14 might be next year, so I may look at the 19 as my next upgrade.
