Seems I can no longer update my series 8 watch,iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and all the other device OSes are available to install. Includes Siri AI and other goodies.
I went for the pro max for the bigger screen, my previous one was a 13 mini so new one seems hugePicked up 18 pro today - replaces 16 pro. seems snappier, mainly got for the better camera so will need to test
I have a 14 Pro, and I've heard this a lot regarding the 18 not being that much of an upgtade. The 14 Pro is still going strong, so I'll stick with it.Moving from the 13 to the 18, Im not seeing a lot of difference in real world use to be honest .

Does anyone have a series 12 watch, and would it be worth the upgrade from the series 8?
My 14 Pro has been in its case since day one (it arrived at the same time as the phone) and is pretty much pristine still. I'm a very light user so definitely no need to upgrade at this time. If the 13 is the earliest trade-in now, then the 14 might be next year, so I may look at the 19 as my next upgrade. If still going strong I would, my 13 pro max was starting to have issues with sound, proper crack on the back and there was dust on the sensor for the camera too. When i looked at apples trade ins I noted that the 13 was the earliest I could trade in so it was a variety of factors that helped me to decide to get new. I know the battery on new will be better, the cameras better, a bit more storage as the base starts now at 256gb but in the real world those things aren't that big a jump for me.
and Sequoia 15.8.1 for others like me - hope it fixes the beachball on saving edited photos.OS27.0.1 is available for Mac & iPhone. I assume iPad as well, but mine is packed at the moment!
