Another Zoo Escapee

From what I have seen I'm not sure they even knew she was missing initially - which is obviously a concern. .

You would think so, one report I saw said she had a fight with an older cat and they thought she was hiding,
personally I would have wanted to check she was ok

do have some sympathy for the new owners though - I believe the place was left in a bit of a state by the previous lot and as such they have a big job on their hands. I'm suprised they had a licence to begin with.

They must have known what they were buying into, paid over £600,000 for the place and I can only hope they had
money left for the urgent repairs etc that were needed despite it being an impulse buy, I don't know if the licence would
have been transferred from the previous owners

and her statement about giving the lions a hug

I've recently been offered a photographic business opportunity using live creatures, would be a lovely idea
but I'm not sure I have enough knowledge to go ahead with it, luckily I have best part of a year to do some
research and think about it, tempting though it is, the welfare of the creatures must come first

Very true - but I did take that lion hug thing as more of a tongue in cheek statement tbh. I don't know about the licence either - I suppose it applies to the business itself rather than the people?

I agree with you 100% re wanting to check on her and your last point.

It just gets worse, seems the keepers have managed to strangle another lynx last week trying to move it to another
enclosure with a dog noose, I despair :(

I've just read about this too - what an absolute disgrace. They obviously don't know what they are doing.

That's a disgrace they were offered help to from the lynx trust but refused it so the was no need to shoot the lynx
And then killed a second one through incompetence
