Anyone heard of this film stock ?

There was a thread at one point for posting old Film era signs but I cannot find What it was called so here is the related film spotted on the Bottom Ticket office of the Saltburn By The Sea cliff railway .

Selochrome was an Ilford brandname from the early 1930s until it started being replaced with the HP anf FP brand names between the 40s to 50s

And still advertised by Ilford in the 1963 BJP I just consulted. I remember it being on sale.

Looking on Ebay these signs can be worth a fair bit but on some signs it advertises Selo Roll Film and Gas light Paper !

Gas light paper was what I started out using. It was slower than the bromide and chlorobromide papers used for enlarging,and was used to make contact prints. My first safelight was a torch bulb not a red light. (c1959).
