I would not touch them, I am with them at the moment but when I move I will be changing.
The main reason for not wanting to touch them is a little long winded but let me explain.
Dad signed up to their land line and broadband deal 10 days before he died. I phoned them to explain that we wanted to change the account holders name from my dad to mum, they told me no problem will sort it out. The next day they sent us a letter saying that they could only do this with a copy of his death certificate, was a little annoyed that they didn't say that on the phone, but never mind.
Sent a copy of his death certificate, a few days later we get a letter still addressed to dad stating that they were closing his account and as he had not returned the router and phone box, Home live or something it was called, that they were billing him for the equipment. Another phone call to them explaining the situation again, where all I got was a n Indian call center with the operative reading from a script saying that there was nothing they could do as I wasn't the account holder and they would only speak to dad about the situation, how many times do you have to say he has died before it gets through to some one!!!!! I gave up and asked for a manager who still didn't understand that they couldnt talk to dad, as you can imagine I was a little upset by this point and hung up.
I called back and managed to get an English call center, well I had a little more luck, but not a lot, I explained the whole situation from the start, they asked for another copy of the death certificate as they had never received it, that's strange they had sent it back to us!! so I emailed a copy to them, I then received a large jiffy bag from them to return the router phone box thing to them and a separate letter on the same day stating that they were looking to sart legal proceeding against my dad for the return f the equipment and the remaining outstanding monies for the entire length of the contract. I posted teir equipment back and another phone call to another one of their call centers and told them they had better start legal proceeding against dad although they may look a little silly trying to take a deceased person to court, at this point I got put onto a manager over here, had to explain the whole situation again and the fact that they had 2 copies of his death certificate and still acted like complete idiots. I will not touch Orange for any service ever again. End of Rant.
Mum ended up changing to sky and they have been really good.
