AP Film Issue?

[ChrisR]

I see that this week's Amateur Photographer has some articles about film photography. Has anyone got a subscription and can comment on whether it's worth spending money on? I've found some of their coverage a bit shallow sometimes...

No sorry it was sealed in plastic bag so I could not have a quick glance through to see if it was worth buying a copy. Yes I agree it is very shallow these days and the factual errors just keep mounting up, that is why I stopped buying it at the last editor change. Usually have a quick read through at ASDA while my financial manager does the deals, always enjoy what Roger Hicks has to say. I used to like Ivor Mantle's pages but he has been shunted to one column so I do jot often buy a copy these days. Re the film article it will probably be good for the people just dipping a toe in or thinking about it.

Well I used to read the AP at the public library but my local library doesn't have it..........I suppose it depends on the area and the library. and financial cuts.

I've got a subscription
It's for people just dipping there toe into film so it was good for me but I expect too basic for most of those on here perhaps

I did succumb and buy it, but no you won't learn anything
