Report then ignore. Always the best policy but you will always have folk posting in the thread.Best is to not reply to it tbh, all it does it bump it up and make it more noticeable.
I'll post their mobile numbers later.Maybe the mods should have an emergency hotline for this kind of thing.![]()
It's impossible to eliminate spam on a forum. TP does a pretty good job of it.
It's Sunday morning, give them a break, unless you want to start paying a subscription for guaranteed content filtering.

edit. hmm maybe they were gone by the time I got here. the reports in the staff room are not nice.
Not nice as in having a go at the mods / admin?
.
Not nice as in they have the original spam quoted with all the pictures showing. Reports are always welcome. we need the members help.
It's my birthday - I'm having a day off![]()
Hey Dod
I read earlier that you were deleting the messages, but that you missed two that were then pointed out, and you then dealt with those. Are you aware if you use the 'Delete as Spam' option, from subsequent screens you can then delete all posts by that person as well as banning them. Managing issues this way ensures no posts are missed...
I had a lie in too
Thanks for all the RTM's from everyone...and the PM's....and the MSN messages....the contact us messages, and the emails lol
Seriously though, the quickest course of action is the RTM button.
When that gets filled out, a thread is automatically created in the staff room with the reason and a link. Every staff member then automatically gets an email with a link to the staff room thread and the reported/naughty thread.
The first staff member 'on the scene' then deals with the problem.
That's why the RTM is always the best way to report something. PM's can get overlooked, as do MSN messages and what not. (Besides the fact they only go to one person). RTM emails *all* staff
And when we know all staff have been mailed, matty can see the email and think 'nah....i'll have a lie in instead'![]()
