What is the legal position when taking photographs at a RAF base?

The set is fantastic! I remember going as a kid to the airshow at Lakenheath and Mildenhall, it's such a shame they stopped the events but alas the security woes and public safety. 3 is my fav from the set. 5, looks although it should be on the set of the Transformers movies!

Raf Lakenheath are fine with people taking photos of their aircraft, most bases are fine.

Can anyone go to Lakenheath? I used to work at Mildenhall on the radios. I'd love to photograph the fast jets

yes they have a signposted viewing area plus there are a few places around the outskirts you can go aswell

All off base, bar the taxi shot of the F-22 Raptor,none from the viewing area though. Mainly from the main road.

Man.... Sorry only just read this.. Yep they were shut! Most bases dont fly on bank holidays.
