That makes me feel better tbh the last thing I really need is more cameras...
Are you cured?

Do you think my wife would notice?
... if it just slips in quietly?
Are you cured?
I'm looking at an RB67...
It wants me.
Are you bored with all your Contax cameras
That's not too far for you Steve, nice day out in the car with the family through the countryside, nice pub lunch, stop and take a few pics on the way there. SortedHow come the most interesting kit is collect only! Major bargain for any 35mm shooters in or around Abergavenny;

90 minutes each way through some beautiful countryside, sounds like a day out to me.Why does it have to be so far away I need to get a scanner for all my grand parents negatives but its 80 miles away

I miss old minis :0( Good luck with the scanner :0)
Yeah, I used to find the same with mine although they weren't exactly built for comfort :0)

The guy that bought my blue mini actually got the train up to Liverpool from Norwich then drove the mini back home, braver man than me!
Ok so after a little bt of research. Ok a very quick google I found this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110-film-adapter-for-Plustek-Opticfilm-film-scanners-/281732569707 might be worth looking at if I get the scanner
Looks a good choice. OTOH if you got the more flexible Epson V500 (etc) flatbed scanners, you could scan it straight onto the glass, I suppose (and also do 120 later, if you wanted). @Carl Hall (I think) did a thread recently showing results not that much difference from using a proper film holder...
There's no light in the lid, so the HP scanner won't scan film - the film scanning flatbeds are all very tall compared to normal scanners in order to incorporate the required light source in the lid!Actually a flatbed may be better I do have a HPScanjet 3530c sitting under my desk at work but have no idea how it compares to the Epson V500

Thanks for that I'll have a look on ebay.There's no light in the lid, so the HP scanner won't scan film - the film scanning flatbeds are all very tall compared to normal scanners in order to incorporate the required light source in the lid!
I've been looking at Mamiya 645s and reckoned I could slip one in...easier to sneak in past the missus than the RB67 eh???
