Yellow beak, a young Buzzard in the trees, through the double glazing so not perfect but not to shabby either.

Young cardinal, with a dark-eyed junco in the background (The Colony, North Texas). Temps were in the mid-20s with frozen drizzle, and very overcast.

This male Northern Cardinal has been playing hard to catch, but today he provided me the opportunity I needed... (The Colony, Texas)

25.01.21 bird of prey (1 of 1).jpgI caught this rather large buzzard sitting in the tree behind my garden watching our little dog. Thought I'd grab the camera rather than get the dog in. We live on the back of an accident wood that has very large birds of prey.

Not our usual garden bird! And in the middle of a big housing estate in the NW of England!

Beautiful racing/homing pigeon that has got lost and used our garden as its feeding station and home. There are blue rings tags on it but it wont let me to
close. I will try and gain its trust with the cunning use of................ bird seed :D

My cunning plan worked. Pigeon is back with its owner after 2 months away :)
