Emailing MSV isnt the best as they will say you shouldnt take pics as they have an official company who are 'really good'....
dont necessarily ask about taking pics, just spectating.
anyway as long as youre not selling the pics on i cant see it being an issue?
Extremely*****photography who do most of the track day photos there have been known to request any photographer looking like they know more than they do (anyone who can use anything bar P mode I expect) to stop taking pics.
I know of a couple of people who got told they were not allowed to take pics because of them.
this goes back to the thread the other day about official photographers and the lack of signage saying otherwise and other people with compacts being allowed etc etc.
if its just the photographer saying that then id tell them to do one and/or go get someone official to tell me that. i would of liked to seen them enforce that at the BSB the other week, there were 1000s of people most with SLRs.
A proper track day photographer would have access to the areas of the circuit that the public can't get to, so they should be able to get the best shots.
