Hi there!

I am a second year film&tv student in college in my second to last unit "Extending Specialist Techniques". I love photography and so have chosen to expand my knowledge. One technique I have chosen is "Long Exposure Landscape Photography". I have a canon 700D and my own ND filters and was just looking for any tips or information that will help me.
I plan to shoot water and go to the seafront to just to see what is there but have nothing set in stone.
I am writing up primary research at the moment so I am completely open to your tips and suggestions! Thank you very much.

Good luck. At the risk of sounding controversial, still water with LE has been done to death. How about trying something else such as something on the transport network, an urban scene, or similar. you would probably get a whole lot more marks, and learn a lot along the way. Something original will be far more appealing than a sunset over the beach.

Thank you for your input! Do you have any tips on basic camera settings or anything else?

Get a good tripod, and download an app for your phone that will give you shutter speeds and their relative long exposure times. Can't help anymore at present as I'm rushing off to work :) sorry

That's no problem thank you very much! have a good day!
