Colour Popping

I know selective colouring is not everyone's cup of tea but found this old attempt and thought I see what reaction it gets!

I think it might be quite nice if the colour popping just made the background stone and pavement black and white, so that the soldiers stand out against it... bearing in mind I know nothing about this sort of thing
