Well here we are one the eve of the first theme for 2020!

Just a reminder ahead of the start of the 2022, 52.

1) The themes will be released every Thursday around Noon-ish, ( give or take a bit) on this thread
and the relevant thread headers will change, to reflect these.
2) The themes will highlighted in Green
3) A new Technique will be announced at the start of every 2 months ( 6 per year
at least one image over that period should contain the technique) this will be highlighted in Blue
4) sometimes lateral thinking maybe required, as the song goes,
"Sometimes words have two meanings".
5) Images should be taken that week, however we are still in uncertain times,
if, due to lock down, or other unforeseen personal reasons, you cant get out to take the image, you can re-edit
a previously taken image, that is on theme.
6) commenting on an image that is posted on the no comments page
will earn you the order of the donut ( its just a bit of long running fun)
6) Most of all have fun, its your challenge.
 
It was more the transposition of the colours and the words.

I've been asked to take some pics at a funeral today with a hearse pulled by two unicorns (!?)... "fantasy" would be a very helpful topic for Week 1 ;)

3. Batteries charged .... check
2. Spare SSD cards .... check
1. Inspiration .... in pre-ignition mode
0. Blast Off ...... eventually :cool:
 
5. Must clean my lenses

3. Batteries on charge, so that’s a positive…

I've been racking my brains for a new theme.....

And then I had an epiphany ... New should cover it


Technique for Jan & Feb. ICM ( intentional Camera Movement)

(At least you won't have to take your camera apart for this one 2021'ers :D)

Creative outa the box ICM juices are flowing (TMI?)
 
I’ll be taking an idea shower later with some blue sky thinking, and an old Skool flip chart to help me get all my ducks in a row and build a strategic staircase. I’ll be trying to think outside the box for this challenge and taking a real deep dive into the weekly themes to become a change agent for my personal photography aspirations.

…yes I’m at work sitting on a Zoom meeting listening to very similar c**p

Hit the ground running and just go for the low hanging fruit to get started and gain some traction :)

I'm glad I've never worked in an office, then I don't have to resist the temptation to slap any one that start a sentence with "so"
Or wants to interface, touch base, or reach out ...

Didn’t really want to go for the low hanging fruit to be honest, hence the need for my strategic staircase :D

Yes I generally have to keep my violent tendencies on the back burner :D
 
And yes I just won a fiver, betting on the first poster for 2022 :D
