Do I go to Thruxton BTCC?

Excuse the quality, had to convert these into small jpegs for the forum as Flickr is being very slow to upload this evening!
 
spoke to a guy with a nikon camera, sigma 300-800, nice gitzo carbon fibre tripod...
 
That's a point, there was a lot of sigma kit there! I had a chat with a few Canon fans but there were quite a few defensive Nikon users there that said oh no not another L :)
Did anyone remember the competition that was read out on the intercom? I was going to give the professional one a try - the email was something like competition@spp.co.uk but can't quite remember!
 
me n dad got sony stuff, with pentacon, tamron lenses, and I took the sigma dp3 :)
 
think we used 2 or 3 per camera, probably 2
the sigma does eat em, but worth it ;-), light n small batteries though
