Exposure question

Yes
I have an issue I can't quite solve, when in av or tv mode the exposure is set to -0.5 and not 0.

But I can't change it, when i go to settings I can't change it. If I adjust the exposure it splits in two bracketing ( I think that's what it's called, it selects three exposures ).

Any help? It's a Canon 40D.

Once the meter is 'live' just spin
The wheel on the back. If it isn't working make sure you switch the rear wheel on - it's the hockey stick mark above On.

Yep the on switch has two stages, make sure you give it two clicks, now go RTFM ;)

I think if you use the top dial it sets it up for bracketing. To adjust the exposure compensation use the rear dial.

Thanks I got it working. It didn't work at first but then I noticed cfn in the screen but had no idea what function was set so I reset all and it is working fine now.
